It felt like being in a scene from a fairytale, reminding me of a picturesque painting by a renowned artist.

The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, nestled right by a beautiful stream in the midst of a tranquil woodland. It provided a peaceful and relaxing setting, perfect for a Christmas getaway. The nearby St Nectan's Glen and Waterfall was a definite highlight, with easy access from the cottage and a truly magical atmosphere. the host, Robin, was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

There were a few aspects of our stay that were less than satisfactory. the washing machine being located in a common area outside the cottage proved to be inconvenient at times, as we had to wait for our turn to do laundry.

I couldn't ask for more for the price I paid. The room at Mill Cottage was cozy and well-equipped with old-fashioned charm. The location was fine, just beside a peaceful stream and surrounded by beautiful woodland.
